Tasty Friends and Trail Dust Town in Tucson, AZ
Last night my husband and I enjoyed one of our favorite activities - dining with old clients/new friends.
I got into real estate for three reasons:
1. I love houses - LOVE looking at them, learning about them, exploring. I also am a freak for details and all of the organization and details really appeals to my nature.
2. I enjoy getting to know people one-on-one. Parties terrify me - but learning folks' story and thoughts in quiet conversation is a whole 'nother matter. I like to be helpful, and the whole meet and greet, help out and assist, just makes me happy. Most of my past clients are now my current friends.
3. Family vacation fund. My three sons have spread themselves across the United States. One lives in Anchorage, AK, another in Seattle, WA, and the middle one stayed put in Green Bay, WI and is married with a 2 year old. Each sale means another step closer to a new visit!
So back to my opening.
Last night, we met our friends at Pinnacle Peak, on Tanque Verde Road in Tucson, AZ. Pinnacle Peak Restaurant is located at the Trail Dust Town - a great place for tourists, Tucson "flavor" and a good old fashioned, mesquite grilled steak! It was built back in the 1950's as a movie set for a Glen Ford adventure.
We often take our friends from out of state here. There's a whole wild west "town" set up with old buildings and facades, China Town, Ghost Town, railroad, shooting gallery, and Stunt Show. There's even a giant hall for weddings at the Savoy Opera House.
You can visit their website here for more information on the area of Trail Dust Town.
We had a lovely two hours catching up on the latest and will be meeting again in another few weeks. Who knew making new friends could be so tasty!
This weekend, my Oregon clients/friends are coming into town for a week, and after buying one investment, are now looking for another. I wonder where we'll be eating..... ?! :)
