If you are lucky enough to live in or near the Worcester area, don't miss the biggest Halloween celebration for families! Make sure you visit the Ecotarium on Saturday, October 23rd from noon to 9:00 p.m. for the Great Pumpkin Fest! The Ecotarium is located on 222 Harrington Way in Worcester.
The event is a full day and evening celebration filled with:
- creative displays of 1,500 carved pumpkins, lit after dark
- hayrides and train rides
- a digital planetarium show
- seasonal games and crafts
- animal encounters with scorpions and snakes
- animal bones and skulls
- pumpkin-carving demonstrations
- fortune telling
- magic, jugglers, fire spinners and circus arts
- temporary tattoos... and more.
The event will take place rain or shine and children are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes! Friendly costumes are encouraged. Please make sure you also bring a flashlight after dark and dress for the weather.
Tickets are $15 for anyone over 2 years of age. Ecotarium members are $10.00 each.
