A Bald Eagle Was Sighted In Talladega County, AL

I can't say that I have ever seen a bald eagle.  But watching this video that Diane Williams post, I can definitely see where the phrase "soar like an eagle" comes from.  This is just beautiful to watch.

A Bald Eagle Was Sighted In Talladega County, AL

Bald Eagle, Logan Martin Lake Sales

Last year a friend of mine was told that a Bald Eagle was sighted in Talladega County. AL on Renfroe Road near the Cotton Patch Store. He made several trips to the location and finally did see the Eagle. I have never had the privilege of seeing a Bald Eagle and found this extremely exciting. Every time I am in the area I watch the tree line.

While, at the Birmingham Zoo last week, I saw this magnificent creature and he posed for me to take a picture.  Someday I hope to have the pleasure of watching an Eagle soar.  I show real estate often in the area where the eagle was sighted in Talladega County, AL.  If I am lucky, I will catch a glimpse of this amazing bird in the wild.

We have a running joke about all the places I've been in this country, that allegedly have bald eagles. All I ever seem to get are squirrels and deer.

Charita, Nice re-blog.  They are so amazing and it really makes you proud to see one soar through the skies.  Thank you.

Joan just watching those broad wings is amazing.

Scott maybe the squirrels are bald eagles in disguise:-).

Tish wihen I look at those wide, wielding wings as he glides through the air, it's almost majestic.

Great reblog.  They are simply amazing creatures.  I don't get how they can just swoop up those fish.  Amazing.

Charita, Like Scott, I've been places that are supposed to have them, but haven't seen them!  I've seen an  empty nest...that's about it!
