Motivational Power Quote

Good Advice is Worth Its Weight In Gold

"To accept good advice is

but to increase one's own ability."

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, writer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Good advice is worth its weight in gold

With a receptive mind we can learn through others and benefit from their advice and wisdom.

That person has learned their lessons in the trenches of life through trial and error and brings a life time of wisdom to the table.

Their advice can become invaluable advice in not repeating the mistakes they have made in their past. Also in looking at their success stories we can apply that information to enhance our success journey.

Good advice will help us to learn from both the successes and the failure of others. But it's our responsibly to sort thought the information and to put it to good use.

Good advice is worth its weight in gold.

When you find that special person who's willing to mentor you and offer you good advice have a receptive mind and be appreciative to have that person in your life.  You will find that their advice becomes invaluable to you in your quest to achieve success.

Yes, it is sometimes hard to take advice, constructive criticism, etc, but it is the only way to learn..

We, as sales professionals, have to be able to accept advice and use it to leverage our position. It's not the advice as much as it is, what you do with the information...

Very well said Lou.

It is a shame that so many try to wing it.  On the other hand those that seek that expertise and utilize it are more often than not the successful who then are willing to pass the message on to those who are coming in.

I am pretty stingy with the suggest button but this one got me to push it.  Here's hoping.

Hi Lou, Good advice can be hard to come by these days. So when you get it, it can be invaluable.

Hi Lou!  SO TRUE!  You know, one thing that I learned from my grandfather is that we must continue our pursuit of knowledge for as long as we live--that includes listening to those who possess more wisdom than ourselves.  Listen and you will learn SO much from those more wise than you!
