If you didn't already know, Simpson University is now offering the Senior community affordable courses in the Redding Campus. This is an exciting opportunity for Seniors to stay active without the fear of failure since there will be NO TESTING, NO GRADING AND NO HOMEWORK! Just the pure joy of learning and interacting with other students.
The program is called "Simpson University for Seniors" - a unique, month-long courses (not-for-credit) open to anyone with a passion for learning! All courses will run concurrently with regular university semesters, but the classes are reserved strictly for the senior (50 plus) community. As I mentioned earlier, the courses are not for credit but are designed to enhance student's joy of learning in an authentic university experience. Students must be 50 years of age or older to participate.
Courses for the month of October are well underway, but you still have time to register for November's "Beyond the Wardrobe: The Life and Works of C.S. Lewis" presented by Dr. Mardy Philippian, Jr.. Course meets on November 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22.

WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD? Classes will be held from 10:20 to 11:20 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Owen Student Services Center on the Simpson University campus. Space is limited, and students will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
WHAT IS THE COST PER CLASS? $95 per person or $145 per couple
