So, you have decided to buy real estate in sunny Jupiter, Florida, or, you are thinking about buying real estate in paradise, AKA, Jupiter, Florida. Either way, you need to -> Get Around, in Jupiter Town!
This is the 2nd Lesson primer on how to Get Around, in Jupiter Town, for those who want to come to Jupiter and discover Paradise!
This primer is not for folks from Jupiter, rather, it is for out-of-Palm-Beach-County, out-of-Florida-State, and out-of-USA-Country folks, (out of town, out of state, and out of country folks,) such as Northerners (those in the USA that live to the North of Florida), and International Purchasers of real estate in Jupiter, Florida, USA!
In the 1st Lesson we got to Jupiter from the Palm Beach International Airport via Interstate-95 to Exit 83 (East to Donald Ross Blvd) or Exit 87A (East to Indiantown Road).
Today we will draw the boundaries around Jupiter and we will discuss a couple of the major roads. This boundary, and the discussion on the major roads, is a generalization. A map should be used for exact details. We want the generalization so that we can get around Jupiter faster.

Boundaries around Jupiter, Florida
Interstate-95 is Jupiter's Boundary to the West.
The Atlantic Ocean is Jupiter's Boundary to the East.
Donald Ross Blvd. is Jupiter's Boundary to the South (South of Donald Ross Blvd is Palm Beach Gardens, and Juno Beach).
For ease of our Lesson, we will say that the Village of Tequesta is Jupiter's Boundary to the North.
Major East-West roads are (from North to South)
Indiantown Road and
Donald Ross Blvd.
Both of these roads run from I-95 to the Atlantic Ocean!
Major North-South roads are (from East to West)
A1A,
US Highway 1,
Intracoastal Waterway
Alt A1A or Old Dixie Highway,
Rail Road Tracks
Military Trail, and
Central Blvd.
Important: We also have 2 other North-South Features! They are The Intracoastal Waterway and The Rail Road! Both are placed in the list. in the correct relative location, in italics.
The Intracoatal Waterway cuts Jupiter into two areas. These two areas can be accessed by car via Indiantown Road and Donald Ross Blvd. On each of these roads, there are Draw Bridges that may open on the hour and the half hour. (There is a 3rd way to access both sides close to the Jupiter Lighthouse. Use your map to discover how.)
There are only a few ways to cross the Rail Road Tracks, Study your map to discover the roads that cross the tracks.
This is Lesson 2 on how to Get Around, in Jupiter Town!
