Dezigner Digz HIP TIPZ: Home Staging, Design & Decor Tips & Nods to the Profession: Tip #'s 126-130

Home Stager with Dezigner Digz

Not sure what HIP TIPZ is?  Please click on Our Introduction to find out more.  Now, let's get down to business -it's time to roll:

Hosting dinner at your place for Easter?  Tuck some chocolate eggs into everyone's dinner napkin.  A fun surprise for your guests.  (NOTE: The tips shown here on Active Rain are recaps from previous HIP TIPZ seen on Twitter and Facebook.  At times, these recaps won't coincide with the current season.  Okay ... it's Halloween time, substitute the chocolate egg with a creative, spooky prop to hide in your guests' napkins instead.  Share your ideas below; I'd love to hear them!)

To bring an upscale, designer look to your den or home office, install a rolling ladder across your bookcases.

For a chic, dramatic table setting, add black candles to an ornate crystal candelabra.  Build your table's "theme" around this focal point.

For a hip backyard, 'DEDON' your outdoor space.  Check out DEDON's website.  It's my fave outdoor furniture line and no, I'm not paid to promote them.  Just sayin' ...

Are you a fan of lucite?  Check out Barbara Hulanicki Design's lucite furniture:  simply awesome!

The rolling ladder is classy. I used to have one. Now, I access everything on computer. So, no need for the books.

Brian - I really like the look of those rolling ladders.  Brian Gluckstein, a Canadian designer, has used them a lot in his projects.  They look fabulous.  We are becoming a paperless society for sure.  I haven't tried one of those E-readers yet.  Not sure if I will, I'm still a bit old school when it comes to books :-).
