Halloween is in the Air...Fun way to serve your treats...

By
Real Estate Agent

This IS a bag of treats--just ignore the graves, ghosts, lightning, blood & teeth in the Photo [LOL or SCREAM]

This is NOT a "pat-on-our-backs" type of posting;
It is a fun approach to Branding your treats or Treating Your Brand.

Two years ago, we discovered through an e-mail, the company of Badge Barn; www.badgebarn.com
After searching all the offerings, we found the section of gift bags;
This section, as are all of the offerings, was Real Estate based.

These bags are heavy-gauge plastic, that hold up well [if kids full of sugar can't tear them--they're GOOD]
We choose the 12" X 15" size.

Put a stash of candy, a small drink & a small 'toy' and you have happy campers [AND, no left over candy].

Before you ask the pertinent question---the answer is NO!:
...the Question: "Did you get clients this way?"
...the actual result is that we 'got recognized'--which is not the same as "clients"/

Another question...the answer is YES:
...the Question...would we do this again [not enough bags left for next year]
...the actual reason for the positive answer is that you can use this bag design for other dates during the year.

Should you decide to utilize this company, do know that it involves "Proofing, checking & Proofing again".
This necessitates ordering in advance.
Once the bags arrived, we were more than pleased with the quality.

Another good effect of using the bag approach is:
...if you use string, ribbon or ties to secure:
...the  treats wrappers  DO NOT end up on YOUR Lawn.

Happy Halloween to all
- a week Plus EARLY

Great idea...I understand the name recognition is the name of the game with this one!

I like it! What a great way to brand! And what a great way to hold all that extra candy loot!

What a fantastic treat as well for the kids.  Generally people throw in 3 mini milky ways and shut the door ! This lets the parents even know you took the time and energy to make the treat extra special !

I love the explaination about getting recognized and getting clients, that is so important to know that both are big parts of our business. I did a post about people the other day and yours was the only one that didn't have a face to the name, but I used your logo anyway because it is soo coool.....

Laura.  name recognition is a good thing;  so far people have responded in a positive manner.  Not ordering for next year until we see if our move out of state is realized.  thanks for the comment; Have a good weekend.

Jason...it is a fun way to present the treats; previous years we did candy, drink, & small toy--this is so much easier.  We tie the bags so the litter is not on  our lawn, but the bags are strong & can be used later.
thanks for your comment...Have a good weekend.

Sherilyn...true, but we decided that with all the problems out there on trick / treat night--if we place ours in a sealed [ of sorts] bag, then parents know from  where the items came.   When I could find a source, we gave books as the treat, but too expensive lately. Tried the pencils, pens & erasers too, but the drinks & candy were the actual 'hits'. Thanks for your comment and have a good weekend.

Gerry.  .how neat & HOW did I miss that--thanks- a tad late-- AT&T or the Rain is making online  here iffy lately.
As to the photo--you see, Sal and I are OLD; therefore any photo of us would have to be UPDATED on a monthly basis. that would involve too much $$$ paid for the process.  We us Sal's caddy interior  shots, that car is so-o-o sweet; It does not ever get old.  The outside is the limited-color called "Hot Lava"--and it IS.  Also, then folks won't say things like " My, you do look so much different in person"  yikes. LOL

Here is a photo-of-sorts of Sal's car--the fireworks and brushed-background have been added.

Cara...we have had as many as 100, last year only 78. that is why we do not have enough for next year--but since our home is on the market & a move out of state is the hope--no bags ordered,  400 treaters would make us rethink the purchase of large bags & perhaps dropping the drinks [which are usually the most $$$].
Have fun with your 400 kiddos.  thanks for your comment & have a good weekend.

Grace & Jeff...you are welcome.  the website has many Real Estate, & Realto[R] items.   If you are thinking of the bag item, choose a design that you can use year round. They do make client-packs look great.
Thanks for your comment & have a great weekend.
