It's here for the third year in a row, and it's perfect for families looking for a day in Phoenix's beautiful autumn weather!
It's Autumnfest in Anthem, AZ.
This annual festival is hosting an arts & crafts fair, a pumpkin patch, a kid zone featuring a bounce house as well as pony and hay rides, live entertainment, a hot chili cook off, the Frazier Shows Carnival and an apple pie baking contest.
Whew, so much to do; so start counting down the days because it's almost here!
What else can you expect at this fun-filled event?
More than 60 crafters and artisans will be there with great gift ideas for the holiday season, including handmade jewelry, baby keepsakes, homemade pasta, clothing, accessories and so much more. Why would you want to pass up on this event?
How about that Chili Cook-Off?
Firefighters from Phoenix, Tramonto and Daisy Mountain Fire Departments will compete with their own chili entries, judged by members of Anthem's law enforcement partners. Yes, everyone is invited to sample the chili until it lasts, so be sure to show up on time: 3 p.m. on October 23.
The best part of it all? It's a FREE event with free admission and parking.
