Cedar City Subdivision....Sunset Ridge....

The next subdivision that I am chosing to highlight is the Sunset Ridge Subdivision. It is also on the South East Side of Cedar City. It is the most unique of any of the subdivisions that I have highlighted, in that it is all rental properties. The renters go through an extensive screening process and the rent is rent controlled. It has an acclaim to fame. The park that I am going to highlight was built by the short lived NBC progam Three Wishes, with Amy Grant. It was built in 2002. It is a really nice subdivision if you're looking to rent. Here are some photos:

Another view of the park at Sunset Ridge. There were children playing on the playground, so rather than pay royalty fees and or freak the mothers that were there with their children, we used these longer shots of the park.

Tony & Darcy, that's a pretty cool story behind Sunset Ridge. I don't usually care for duplex's, but I like these...very attractive. I also think it's interesting that it's a rental community.

Tony and Darcy, I have never heard of an entier community that are rentals unless they were apartments. This is a new concept but certainly working from the appearance of the properties. I'm thinking this would bode well back east!

Nick, I was surprized that they were all rentals owned by the same company, the homes are very well cared for, that was the surprising factor for me.

Sharon, I knew that some of these were rentals until I got researching this blog, I hadn't realized that they were all rentals. The company that owns them makes sure that they are well cared for.

Barbara, Like I said, I knew that some of these were rentals, but I think that it is a great idea, it isn't very often that one of these even enters the rental market.

Susan, Thank you! It is a unique concept to our area as well. I wish all the rental properties in Cedar City were maintained like this one!

Lee & Carol, it is a great idea, they are all duplexes and I didn't count but I would estimate at least 45 homes in Sunset Ridge (90 Units).
