Craigslist Over Played: Is This Your Best Promotional Option?

By
Mortgage and Lending with i Cantu Media LTD

To the untrained eye - this looks like the best option to promote your goods. But Craigslist has become a weird cesspool of unsavory characters recently including crimes, murder, scams, and ... most recently prank phone calls. This is not the best place to conduct business lately.... but some good things are coming out of it if you know how to analyze it.

When you promote your company on the web you will notice that a lot of companies will grab your phone number and start calling you directly. The other thing you will notice is that a lot of calling bots will pester your phone with travel offers, get rich quick schemes and other offbeat offers not related to real estate.

This is a problem you are going to have if you continue to get your name out there. Most companies never experience this because they never have that kind of reach.

* So.... if you are fully using the web and promoting your company online... you can expect, prank calls, get rich quick programs and other goofballs... and unintelligeable babble... from complete wackos.

Happy Selling !!

I guess there is always a silver lining. Still, I wish I could superglue the mouths of some of the goofballs that call. Thank goodness, most calls are legit.

I have been getting less and less use out of craigslist, but my sellers want me to use it still.  They are not on it enough to understand how much of the time is spend dealing with useless junk from craigslist anymore.  Just to many scams out there now.

There's always a price to pay.  It's a pity that there are so many unscrupulous characters out there..  Margaret C.
