The Whittier Cultural Arts Foundation has done it again - come up with a great Whittier event, that is. The first annual "The W Art Exhibit" is planned for November 19 & 20, 2010, and its focus will be on print (includes paintings, drawings, prints and photography) and sculpture artists.
The Whittier Cultural Arts Foundation is currently looking for 20 Artists who would like to participate in this great exhibit, which promises to become the most influential art exhibit in the Whittier community.
The exhibit fee will be $100 per artist, a tax deductible donation, and will guarantee the artist a 8ft x 8ft exhibit space, 50 invitations, plus being mentioned on all related marketing materials. In addition to this fee, the artist will donate 10% of their sales to WCAF in order to help support local art programs, in exchange for a link to their business on the WCAF website for one year.

The Whittier Cultural Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization with the goal of promoting and sustaining the Arts in Whittier. They have launched other great programs, such as "Whittier Idol", Street Banner Program, as well as their annual "Showcase", which I have had the pleasure participating in as an artist.
