I just got off the phone with Jack Properties in Royse City, TX
They have submitted a report to Freddie Mac stating that a property appears to have the original roof and should be replaced.
Well... I am no contractor.... And I have never done a roofing job.... But I can look up at a roof and tell if it has had a roof overlay or not. My roofing contractor certainly thinks it is an overlay.
I suspect our roofer actually got out of the car and crawled up a ladder to look at the roof.
Fact: The property has a roof overlay.
Fact: The roof has an economic life of 10+ yrs per our inspection
Speculation: Jack Properties is looking for a job?
Their reply: It is OUR OPINION.
Is Darrell Jack: Incompetent? Fraudulent? Confused?
I would be curious to hear from inspectors about this.
