Don't underestimate the power of the last quarter. Work habits must adjust; skills must be developed and perfected. We must be constantly aware of our mindset and never forget...you are 90 days out on all production....what you do today will determine your 2011 start.
•} First Down...Determine the right plays...In today's market can we list a home on Monday and have it sold by Wednesday? Can we list a property and have a price bid with multiple offers? We are experiencing a much higher number of expired listings. FSBO's are no longer selling as soon as they get their ad in the paper or their sign in the yard. We have shifted from a strong seller's market to a strong buyer's market. We have seen the number of homes for sale increasing. We see the number of sales remaining flat or decreasing. We see the number of agents decrease and the number of new licenses issued decrease. We see agents that can't adjust to change, their attitudes and work habits are less effective and their production decreases. We see a slowdown in our market and realize the value and pricing of properties has become critical. We MUST adjust to change, do not buy into the negative behaviors of others and have the mindset that this is your time to shine.
