Coming up November 5th is the 2nd Annual National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week: Hunger Bowl (Neighborhood Congregational Church 340 St. Ann's Dr). Soup tastes and fixings, desserts and soft drinks donated by Laguna Beach restaurants. Art by Laguna Beach Homeless will be for sale. There will also be a Silent Auction featuring uniquely designed bowls donated by professional artists. The event benefits the Laguna Relief and Resource Coalition. Tickets are $45 each. LAGUNA NIGUEL

October 28-30th is the 10th annual Haunted Trails. What's left of the world in the year 2050? Walk through "Niguel-O-Tropolis" where you will explore cities of the future! Small groups will be escorted by guides weaving through the back alleys of New York City, and experiencing the creatures in San Francisco's China town, or walking through the subway maze that will take you into Central Park. Watch out for street people, gangs, and New Orleans zombies as you end your visit in the swamp graveyard. The event is held from 6:30-10:30pm and tickets are $10 a person. The urban horror of "Niguel-O- Tropolis" is "Very Scary" and not recommended for children under 8 years of age. Wear comfortable shoes to walk along the trail. LAKE FOREST

Saturday October 23 from 3:00-5:00pm bring your pet to PetSmart's Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest and Photo Event! The FREE event will include a costumed pet parade and a Best Pet Costume contest. Winners of the contest are selected by the audience and receive PetSmart gift cards worth $20 for first place, $10 for second place and $5 for third place. The first pets to arrive at the event receive free goodie bags filled with treats and coupons. MISSION VIEJO

October 23 is the 22nd Annual WALK AGAINST DRUGS. The event starts at 8:00 a.m. for a motivational rally featuring keynote speaker: 17 year old Sarah Lonsert. Her accomplishments include being named Singer/Songwriter of the 2009 L.A. Music Awards, recent Grand Prize Winner in the USA Song writing Competition and overcoming autism at Mission Viejo High School Stadium (25025 Chrisanta Dr) There is a food drive, so please bring NON Perishable food items to the Rally for South County Outreach Food Bank. From 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm is the celebration fair at the Village Green (24932 Veterans Way). Shuttle Buses will be available to and from Newhart Middle School to Mission High School 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. For entertainment, Mission Viejo's Got Talent Winner, PKSA Elite Demo Team will perform their winning routine to invigorate the crowd. Afterward, the crowd will walk down La Paz Road through the Oso Creek Trail to the fair at the Village Green. Entertainment includes performances by Sarah Lonsert, PKSA, Alyssa Mimms, Summer Dobbs and much much more!  Fair participants will also be greeted by the 3rd Annual South County Disaster Preparedness Expo: Promise to Prepare!  Hosted by Supervisor Pat Bates, several county agencies will be on hand to discuss and distribute important preparedness information while having fun. SAN CLEMENTE

Coming up November 6th is a Tail of Two Cities "It's Raining Cats and Dogs"
starting at 4:00 pm to be held at the beautiful Talega Golf Club. The event benefits the animals at the Pro-humane San Clemente - Dana Point Animal Shelter. Ticket price of $100.00 will include appetizers, dinner and 2 drinks with live music, silent auctions and prizes!

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

October 29-31 is the Haunted House of Illusions (Zax Studios
33155 Camino Capistrano, Suite B, San Juan Capistrano). Not your ordinary Haunted House, this Magic Show with a Haunted Twist will leaves the hairs on your neck standing up as you try to figure out, "How did they do that?" Tickets are $8 each and will be sold at Sponsoring Businesses throughout the Capistrano Valley. The recommended age range is 8 years old and up.
