Curb Appeal-The first impression is the most lasting impression a buyer will have of your home. That being said you must WOW them from the start. When a potential buyer pulls up or walks up to your home that is when you really have to impress them and here's how;
1. Remove the screens from your front windows and store them in the house or garage out of the way. From a distance screens make the windows look dirty and dingy.
2.Fresh caulk around the front door and windows.
3. Front door, windows and trim should be freshly painted.
4. Shrubs should be neatly trimmed, remove and replace any dead shrubs.
5. Fresh mulch around all shrubs and flowers.
6. Fill in all cracks in the sidewalk and porch.
7. Grass should be neatly mowed and trimmed.
8. If you have room on the front porch place a couple of decorative planters with beautiful flowers in them.
9. Remove all trash and debris from the yard.
10. Everything should look neat, fresh and well maintained.
11. Make the approach to your home inviting.
The goal is not only to impress your potential buyers but to implant a positive outlook of your home that will last through-out their visit. If you have any questions please feel free to submit them from my website; www.MDResidentialRealty.com, I will be happy to answer them.
