Greenway Middle School in Arizona was just featured on tonight's news.  The class is raising funds to go to Pearl Harbor on December 7th and Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie.  It was interesting to watch them try to dance the tahitian.

As always Sally, your post is informative and depicts the true Hawaiian spirit.

Laie is one of my favorite places on the planet.  The PCC is a national treasure.  It has even been copied by China in their own similar center pulling together the many varied aspects of culture in that country.

Sally, I first visited the Polynesian Cultural Center at La'ie in 1968 when I lived in Honolulu for a year. It amazed me then, and I'm sure it continues to do so now. The Halloween Haunted Lagoon would be spine-tingling, I'm sure.
