Hi Debbie.....I remember when my daughter was taking pointe over 25 years ago and we brought her to see the nutcracker suite in Boston.....she loved it and wanted to go every year.....once was enough for me!!!!!!!

My mother started taking my oldest daughter (with the new baby now) to the Nutcracker each Christmas at the Kennedy Center. Unfortunately she didn't live long enough to take her but two years. Would have made a very nice tradition for them both. Just thought back - wow, the last one was 24 years ago. Time flies...
Jay - Yes, it sure does. Oh, and I haven't been to the Kennedy Center for years. I miss DC. (But, I guess we have Lincoln Center here, and that's pretty good, too.)
I took my daughter to see Mary Poppins at Kennedy about a month ago. We sat right up front and she loved it. Knew little of Mary Poppins prior to the play! I was surprised she had not seen the movie because we have it here at home.
That's cool. Nothing like seeing it live. So glad we have Broadway right here - there is nothing like it.
