Pulllman WA Halloween Home Safety Tips - Lori Cofer Realtor®

By
Real Estate Agent with Beasley Realty

Many of my clients this year were first time home buyers who will be spending their first HALLOWEEN in their new homes.  Living in a small town like Pullman, we do still have little ones accompanied by their parents who go out for trick or treating in their local neighborhoods.   It looks like lots of rain all over the state of Washington this year which adds to the element of darkness.

Of course, safety is the name of the game for your visitors!  Here is an easy idea to provide a safe and well lit walk.

Why not line your walk way and steps with glow sticks!  I was at our local dollar store the other day and saw these great glow sticks and thought what a great idea of Halloween safety. They could be carried, incorporated into costumes, but they could also be used as a safe alternative to luminaries.  They would be easy to put into decorated paper bags and provide great safe luminaries, or they could directly be put into the ground.  And even if someone should decide they are just too great to pass up for a "trick" and take one, you would know you are providing an element of safety!

This really is a terrific idea, and affordable too! Some properties just don't have very good lighting.

Glow sticks! What a great suggestion, Lori...and not only do they increase the safety for kids, but they are fun, too! :)

Lori - I've seen the glow sticks in many of our stores - it is a great idea that will help light up those trick-or-treaters!
