Will the real Brad Andersohn please stand up!
Last week I was fortunate enough to attend a class that was taught by the one and only Brad Andersohn from Activerain at the North Bay Association of Realtors in Santa Rosa, Ca. To my wonderful surprise, I found several Sonoma County blogging greats in class who were also there to hear Brad. It was so nice to see and visit Dave Roberts, Cynthia Larsen, and Kathleen Bonham that afternoon!
As always, Brad provided us with a plethora of information and tools for mastering our online branding as real estate professionals. Some of my top three favorite web tools were:
- Box.net - It's a website that allows you to upload files for your friends to download
- Picnik.com - This is a wonderful free online photo editing tool
- StepRep.com - I've been using this one for sometime. It's a great tool for monitoring your brand online.
What really caught my attention was Brad's gentle announcement that he was no longer with Activerain and is now an internet consultant for Zillow.com! What the heck?! I couldn't believe my ears. Brad's been one of the main icons for Activerain and now, he's gone?! As Brad put it, he's gone from A to Z in one employment swoop and is now representing Zillow.com. After I got my breathing back, I found myself settled with the idea that although Brad is not going to be at Activerain, he's still going to be continue his journey as a internet guru under the Zillow umbrella.
So, I guess I'm going to be setting up a Zillow account this weekend so I can hang out with one of my favorite internet gurus, Mr. Brad Andersohn. Hope to see you there too!
Clarification as of this posting - It looks like our good friend Brad is going to be working for both Activerain and Zillow! Boy, is he ever going to have an identity crisis! ;-)
