Interesting that I pulled up the search "Mountains in Idaho potato commercial" and found a link to the Idaho Potato commission stating this was shot on location on a potato farm in Eastern Idaho.  I went back to click additional links and Google had already found this article" in the few minutes in between.

I have a friend, Rebecca Price, that I just learned (thanks again to Google) that is now the director of the Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot, Idaho.  I will send her this link so she can comment.

Hi Jim & Other Posters, I have spent so much time skiing in Grand Targee as well as Jackson and I have to say this ad looks like it was shot on the Wyoming side... I have some photos I have taken on both sides I will pull out and double check but sure looks like the flats outside of Jackson to me... Rebecca

It is definitely in Wyoming. I work in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming with this view in my front window. This shot is taken along Highway 89, on the north end of Antelope Flats. Just goes to show that even they know where the best Teton views come from. :)
