Real Estate Statistics Sales for Milwaukee County are down from last September. Buyers are slowly returning to the market, as Pending Sales plunged 34.6 percent compared to a year ago. Many would-be summer buyers already bought during the tax credit period, and sellers seemed to be aware of chilly demand as New Listings are about the same as last year. For the 4 county Milwaukee area listings are up 2.4% at 12,129 over last year at 11,846. In Milwaukee County the median sale price plummeted to $115,000, down from $139,950 in 2009. The Median Price of $115,000 was a 17.8 percent decrease over last year. It is clear that this is a great time to invest in Real Estate in the Milwaukee area!
