I have been a proud parent, and now I am a proud grandparent of a student at Glendale Spanish Immersion Elementary School, Nashville TN. 
On November 20, 2010 the PTA of the school will sponsor a Holiday Bazaar. It will be held in the Glendale gym from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Admission to this event is FREE. This is a great opportunity to get some of your holiday shopping done.
Last year the event featured more than 40 booths. A sampling of items that were for sale included: jewelry by local designers, handmade cards, wreaths, girls dresses and bows, vintage aprons, cookbooks, knitted items, artwork, prints, books, ornaments and much more.
There was food provided by several local establishments including Bongo Java and Las Paletas.
Lastly, there were booths for the children including face painting and carnival games with prizes.
