Reminder: Daylight Savings Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7 The phrase "spring forward, fall back" helps people remember how Daylight Savings Time affects their clocks. In the spring, we set the clocks ahead. In the fall, one hour back, so we will soon gain back that hour we “lost” in the spring. This will return us back to Standard Time. What to do with that extra hour? Perhaps some exterior home repair, before the cold weather sets in? Store or cover up summer patio furniture; last-minute paint touch-ups if bare wood is showing; rake up your leaves to prevent a soggy mess in the spring; or clean your rain gutters to prevent ice build-up this winter.
