The Price of Experience
Lou uses Oscar W ilde this morning to illustrate the power of paying attention to what we do and what is done to us in life. While experience is another name for mistkaes, I've also heard that "sin" can be translated as "to miss the mark." As someone else said, "it's not good; it's not bad; it just is."

The Price of Experience
"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes."
Oscar Wilde, author and playwright
As I see it. . . . . . . .
The price of experience
There is a price that we pay for our experience. That price is the mistakes that we make along the way to accumulate the know-how so that we don't repeat the mistakes in the future.
The most costly price that we pay for our experience is by not learning the lessons from the past and doubling drown and making the same mistake again.
Use each mistake as a positive building block for your future success. Understand what has taken place in the situation. Know what you did right and what would do again.
Isolate what went wrong and why. Determine what you could have done to change the outcome. What you would do in the future to create a successful outcome to the same situation.
Every experience that we have is a leaning experience no matter if it's a successful experience or an experience where everything has gone wrong.
In both cases learn the lesson and move forward with your newly found knowledge.
The price of experience can be a variable cost. When we learn from our mistakes and make a commitment not to repeat them we lower the price for our experience and accelerate our success journey.
