Does anyone know who to get google to crawl your site faster?

As many of you know, we are yet again expanding our website.  In process of adding 60 hardwood page (one of each town in the county) and then we will follow that up w/ 60 for carpet and 60 for tile.  So far, we added 20 last week, and hope to get in another 50 or so this week.  Hopefully, we will be finished w/ this in 3-4 weeks.

We just started them on Tues, so I know I'm a bit impatient here.  I did about 8 wordpress blogs linking to the pages (and more to come) and some of these were later in the week.  I've also added links to the pages on the site map.

As of today, none have been indexed on google - or at least that's how it appears.

Any ideas on what I should be doing?  Or, do I just need to be patient.  (I was trying not to clutter up my Active Rain acct since I have real people/subscribers commenting on the blogs and I don't want to bore you w/ all this mundane stuff as almost all of these are very similar and not really relevant to you).

I'm open to suggestions.

Debbie, Aside from throwing tons of money at them I really haven't a clue either but I have had increased traffic by doing a search for "free search engine submission". It's amazing how many engines are out there and I figure if enough of them carry my site Google will notice it.

Not sure either.  I hope more people respond to your post because I would be interested in this subject also.

Bob - Thx for your input.  Maybe I just need to be patient.

Stella - I hope so, too.

I think the bots crawl when they crawl, but my understanding is that time is the key.  If Google, or the other SE's, recognize that your site and blogs are here to stay, and have unique content, and you have regular and different information, it begins ranking them quicker.

You can be recognized as an "expert" by having a post out there about certain topics before anyone else.   When that happens, I also understand, (no expert here either) the bots are quicker to see new content.

Debbie,

There is software you can use to spread the website out to other sites that Google will pick up. Two of those are http://pingoat.com and http://pingomatic.com.   I have used the first one.

Do I understand that you are actually creating an identical page with the exception of the city? If this is the case, you are more likely not to be found since it will not be considered as relevant by the search engines. There are a couple of things you can do to accomplish what I think you are after without spending all of the time and money you are putting into it right now.

There are other questions I will have but the first one is - Do you own your site? OR Do you have the ability to change it without cost?

Age is always a factor, so if you have a new web site, it might take some time before Google recognizes that it is here to stay. That’s why you never want to give up a domain name that has been around for many years.

Jerry - Thx. I'll look into that.  No, the pages are not identical. They are similar and have city and zip changes in titles and throughout.  They also have street names of customers we've done and soon I hope to add in some google maps.  I am, however, open to suggestions.

Russel - Thx.  Yes, I know that's true.  My site has been up for a while and 70-80 pages have indexed.  Most that I added over the summer are indexed. It's now the new ones from the last week or so.
