Food For Thought---And General Consumption

Services for Real Estate Pros with Advance Realty USA

Food Drive The numbers keep changing, but the last I heard there are 15 million Americans who are now unemployed.  The holidays have always been a time of reflection and thanksgiving and giving a helping hand to those less fortunate.  The number of people who are relying on food banks has roughly quadrupled in recent years due to the recession and rising unemployment numbers and food banks are in dire need of donations.  Now more than ever we must take a look inward, be thankful for our blessings and give more than ever before to help those in need.  Advance Realty has launched a national food drive to help local area food banks meed the unprecedented need and asks everyone to pitch in however they can.  Will you answer the call?  For more information on how you can get involved go to

Thanks for the post!  You should always PAY IT FORWARD, as you never know when you might need a helping hand.

Paying it forward is often the best blessing we can receive.  Being thankful for what we have and sharing it with others is a priceless experience.

Blessings, Michelle. Our problems may seem huge - but remembering that there are others who have struggles meeting even the most basic of needs brings it back into perpective.  Cheers, Wendy Betts - Vancouver BC

Caring expertise...knowledge for you!

Excellent reminder to all of us to be "thoughtful", and to give as much as we are able to do, in these trying times.

I read an article in the Towson Times recently that said the local food bank is having trouble keeping enough food on their shelves to meet the demand.

Thank you all for your responses; it truly does help me to realize my blessings and helps me to refocus and prioritize. Taking a few cans from the pantry to help feed someone is such an easy thing to do and it means so much to those in need.
