Michael...If this helps my least favorite is early spring (mud Season) after skiing and before the golf courses open...but that only lasts about two weeks in April.

Rene...I use a pocket canon auto-focus, It really is about the subject not the $99 camera.

Steve,  Did you take all those photos yourself?  They are awesome.  I just returned from my 1st visit to New Hampshire.  We spent a week visiting the towns around the lakes, plus Concord and Manchester.   We really loved it !  Next Summer Iwe hope to come to the Lincoln area.

Steve, What is the altitude in Lincoln?

Is it a Summer resort area also?

What is the year round population?

I ask because I loved what I saw.  Thanks.  Marsha

Marsha, We are a big tourist town and Lincoln has some great summer attractions...A water park, Zip line tours, trained bear show, Caves , great hikes, train and tram rides, mountain biking, kayaking, horse back riding, golf. 1,200 full time residents, base elevation 1,000 feet, most of the surrounding peaks are 4,000+ feet, with the Pemigewasset river running through the center of town. Let me know if you decide to come.

These photos make me yearn for NH! The Big Drop takes my breath away! Snow on the Notch looks like powered sugar on top of chocolate mounds! Indian Head does look like it's a profile with a headress! Oh these photos are worthy of being in an art gallery!
