Back by Popular Demand - Suffern NY's  Farmers Market!!

Last week I wrote a post about the Suffern Farmer's Market - October 23, 2010  - Last One of the Season  - the grand finale and last week that was in fact accurate reporting.  But this week, believe it or not the Suffern Farmer's Market is back again.

The Farmer's Market was scheduled to close on October 23, 2010 but due to popular demand of both the vendors and patrons, the market will remain open through November 20, same time same place, rain or shine.

The great Indian Summer weather we've been gifted with over the past week makes it a perfect time to get out and do something outdoors.  So come cash in on the extra few weeks of market time.

Farmers' Market

Saturdays through November 20, 2010

8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Rain or Shine

at

Orange Ave at Lafayette Ave

in the commuter parking lot.

Support our local farmers and get a taste of historic downtown Suffern. You'll LOVE it -It's a great place to shop and a great community gathering spot.

If you love the idea of living in Suffern NY and are thinking of making a move, give me a call. I'd love to show you around and help you find that perfect place to call home.

I love Farmers Markets, I never seem to make it to ours though.  Note to self, schedule time at the local Farmers market!  Thanks for sharing.

Tony & Darcy - They sell some homemade foods and crafts too - great for holiday treats and holiday gifts.

Kate - I love them too and never seem to have enough time to hit it right as often as I'd like.

Valerie - Hope that farmers market across from your office generates alot of street traffic and leads for you.  Thanks by the way for the heads up the other day on the faulty link.

We had a farmers market last year, but the turn out was not good for the vendors, and they decided not to do it anymore this year.  What a shame!  I love fresh produce, they taste much better.

Leah ~  How wonderful to have your Farmer's Market extend it's time -- I just love the fall produce and all of those wonderful canned goods!

RIta - the one here is doing well 'cause they have a cooking demonstartion, entertainment and children's events every week and it becomes a weekend family outing

Tish - It must mean that they're successful.  THe weather has been cooperative - a reason to go out and stroll thru the village.

Leah,

Farmers Markets are a wonderful souce of fresh veggies and fruits.  It's great when they make an effort to offer the produce as long as possible.
