We have an election only a few days away if you haven't decided, Wood TV locally created an electronic debate asking the same questions of each candidate.
This is only the second time you will be able to see the candidates answering questions and maybe the only time each answering the same questions.
Myself, I am ready for real change, real change not just politics as usual. I want our nation run like a business. I know controlling spending like we have to do in our homes is unrealistic. I know politicians have work based on compromise...are you kidding, have you ever bought anything in your home that the purchase wasn't a compromise with your spouse or significant other?
Were you able to print money and buy something without paying for it. If you have it was because you went bankrupt. We all have budgets and only so many available dollars. The nice part about government, they work on a budget based on OPM. What is OPM? Other Peoples Money...yours and mine! Your money goes to government based on fees, taxes, and reduction of incentives in the tax codes. Somebody pays for every dime a government spends and it is the taxpayer.
Take the time watch the video debate and Vote for who you think is going to lead our state the best. Lost jobs, closed factories, leading the national unemployment list is not leading. We have seen over 30 years of poor policies in Michigan while other states thrive. We have a beautiful state and some of the most friendly people in America...let's get a leader in our state that can take advantage of all the empty buildings and a trained manufacturing workforce.
