Looks like a lot of rain we could use here in FL - hopefully it didn't flood any homes!

Brigitta,

Never underestimate the power of a river. That's a lot of water. Hopefully no one was hurt or is now suffering because of the flood.

Take care and don't loose your camera or your stamina!

Thanks for sharing.

Carol:

Some homes were flooded.  Now, if I could just figure out a way to send the extra rain down to Florida . . .

Patricia:

Although it may seem nice to live along the river during the calm periods, the water can really do great damage during a storm.  I would not personally live close to water knowing the power it can have.

I'm sorry to hear that. It looks like you guys are getting a lot of the storms we are dealing with now...currently under a tornado watch.

At least we don't have to deal with the tornado watches.  At least not now.

They certainly do have a lot of power.  Even though they may be nice during the calm, I wouldn't want to live close to one.

And we here in Los Angeles were freaking out about a half inch of rain last week!  I hope no people or animals were affected.

I hope we do not get huge storms and ice this winter.  A little snow at a time will be fine and easier to manage.
