Not sure what HIP TIPZ is?  Please click on Our Introduction to find out more.  Now, let's get down to business -it's time to roll:

HIP TIPZ #146

The ultimate in kitchen luxury: add a warming drawer to your design.

HIP TIPZ #147

Are you removing your existing kitchen cupboards?  Don't add to the landfill.  They're great in the garage for keeping workshop and gardening tools organized.

HIP TIPZ #148

Two slipper chairs sitting face-to-face with an ottoman in between make a great conversation area in a small space.

HIP TIPZ #149

Buffalo horn handles for the cabinet doors and drawers in your bathroom - the ultimate in masculine glam.

HIP TIPZ #150

If one fridge isn't enough in your kitchen for a large family, add a column fridge to your design as well if space permits.  Having trouble selling Hubby on the idea?  Be sure to tell him about the 'beer fridge' you were planning to have put in the garage for him - that oughta do it ;-).

Charlene,

The recycling part of the kitchen cabinets is a very good idea.

Brian - They can be very handy in a garage or even in a workshop in the unfinished part of a basement.  If a homeowner can't use them, rather than send them to the landfill, there are places like Habitat For Humanity that would love to have them as well, to re-sell in their shop.
