Insight From My Morning Beach Walk **Photos**

These photos were from a few days back. My camera is off for repair, I admit I feel lost without it. Sometimes the insight I gain from my morning walks only REmotely RElate to REal Estate.

In general, people just seem happy and content at the harbor, fishing. Even the Harbor employees seem happy and content. Lately, I feel like a celebrity because I am greeted warmly. Some fishing enthusiasts approach me to show me their catches. Crab was very popular today. I told one guy who showed me his loot that he was REally crabby today!"

I do so much socializing on the harbor that I can't consider it exercise anymore, so I've added what is usually a mile and a half sand beach walk. Today I decided that sand would feel good so I took my shoes off and went barefoot. I didn't think about the jelly fish washing up on shore. So, I spent a lot of time looking down so I wouldn't squash one. I found later that the clear jelly fish (they look like bubbles) won't hurt you if you step on them (although it would hurt them). The harbor guys said the jelly fish you want to stay away from are brown with tails.

I decided to give one of my seller's a call that I had not been able to reach the last couple of days. We got into a lively conversation. Between talking to her and watching for jelly fish--I over walked. When I hung up and looked around I had no idea where I was. We still don't have a lot of landmarks on highway 90. I made it back quite exhausted, but now I know I can handle a 4 mile walk.

So that is how my early morning went. Have a Great Day!

Suzi,

Thanks for sharing your morning walk! I love the beach like you and it is so peaceful and relaxing. BTW, I heard the same thing about the brown jelly fish noticed a few lately on my beach. :)

Angie and Suzanne, its a pleasure having you stop by and comment. That was a strange blog, even for me. Litter is my #1 Pet Peeve. I will do a better litter message next time and possibly use it with anything that goes public.

Aziz, hello and thanks for stopping by. It is my kind of peaceful, which definitely doesn't necessarily mean quiet. The birds can be very noisy. At one time I thought of them as annoying. All birds disappeared for awhile after Hurricane Katrina, suddenly it was very quiet. Beach Blvd/Hwy 90 runs beside this beach, so its not like we re in paradise. It is an unusual setting, I am grateful to experience it.
