I have three kids, 6 years apart, so I am always looking for a variety of inexpensive activities for them. There is a lot going on in Hampton Roads for Halloween.
If you are not a Halloween celebrator plenty of churches are having Harvest Ball activities. In Chesapeake you can visit Greenbrier Community Church for an alternative to Trick or Treating. They are hosting a party called Trunk or Treat from Sun Oct 31st 6-8pm, Open to the Public.
In Norfolk at TownPointe Park Sat Oct 30th from 10am-3pm, is Hallowpalooza, Admission is Free, Open to all, there will be a variety of children's activities. For more info and a list of activities click here
Norfolk Zoo is having a day full of events on Sat Oct 30th from 10am - 9pm, the day events are geared for younger kids and as it gets darker, the zoo will get scarier. Click here for more info and pricing!
The Spirit of Norfolk is sponsoring a Haunted Cruise called Pirates, Mermaids, and Monstors Halloween Cruise. Tickets start at 31.90 and include Lunch. Kids Welcomed! The Cruise is Sun Oct 31st from 1-3pm, click here for reservations.
Trick or treat in Greenbrier Chesapeake Mall Sun Oct 31st from 3:30-5:30. Want to be in doors out of the cold then this might be the place to go. Jillians has moved in to the mall so after the kids are done you can watch football and get a bite to eat while your children play in the arcade. Click here for info.
My son has already gave this next event 3 thumbs up. For those who like to be super scared check out Hunt Club Farms in Virginia Beach. Visit the village of the dead, the field of screams or play it safe on a hay ride or on the carnival rides. Even the website is spooky, Click here for pricing and info!
And when all else fails head to the grand scare of them all Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Howl-o-scream is amazing how they change over the entire theme park into a scary adventure.
