When I was a kid, Halloween was filled with great excitement. You could hardly wait for the sun to set before getting into your costume and heading out to collect your candy from the neighborhood. Forget my Mom or Dad trying to get my brother and I to eat dinner. It would be so aggravating to have to sit there at the dining room table and hear our doorbell ringing with the kids whose parents had either fed them earlier, or left them trick-or-treat first.
