To get a free QR-code reader, simply download the BeeTagg QR-code reader at http://get.beetagg.com directly from your mobile phone. Then start the app and snap a picture of the above bar code to see the video.

There are many free QR-code generators on the net and you can easily find readers for almost any phone, even older ones. We're beginning to use this technology in our print advertising.

Eric,

I've been writing excellent blog posts about QR codes for almost four months now, so don't get upset over the oatmeal. :=)

Initially, my photographer was supplying QR codes for my YouTube videos, but I like the QR codes generated by RealBird better. They have one tab for property details; one for photos; and a 3rd tab for contact information with links to reach me. It's so much more information than just the video.

At this point, I am printing a photo of the front of the home with a QR code and instructions below it, laminating the flyer and attaching to my "for sale" sign with a zip-strip. I have no clue how many people are using them at this point, but word is spreading fast. It impresses Sellers on a listing appointment, and I want to be known as the trend-setting Realtor!

Realbird is offering stickers with the QR codes to apply to your sign, but I haven't tried that yet.
