Closed Another Bank Of America Short Sale

Jim Patton - Short Sale SpecialistI closed another short sale today.  This one was a Bank of America short sale and it could not have gone smoother.  The negotiator was awesome, she always answered my emails in a timely manner and even gave me her phone number when we had a minor problem come up.

This home was in Livingston Ca.   It was a three bedroom two bath home built in 1991.  It sold for $95,000.

With all of the negative publicity that Bank of America has gotten recently I think it is right to praise them when they do something right.  This time they did something right.  A nice young couple will not have to worry about how they will get out from under an upside down house or have to worry about being foreclosed on.

If you are in a similar situation read here about FORECLOSURE VS.SHORT SALE. Foreclosure is NOT your only option!

My sellers of this house are happy that they did a short sale with me Jim Patton - Short Sale Specialist and commented on how easy it was and how quick it went.  They had heard all the horror stories about short sales not working and/or taking forever.  If you have heard those stories too read about SEVEN SHORT SALE MYTHS.  If you or someone you know is facing foreclosure there is hope!

Some days I love Bank of America and sometimes I hate them, but I do like the equator system.  I have heard mixed reviews about it, but I love working with that system.

Stella - So far I have had great experiences working with BofA through equator.  I have another one that is just getting started and I sent an email to the negotiator yesterday morning and have yet to hear back, so we shall see.

Jim, I agree that you should give credit when credit is due.  Unfortunately I haven't had the same experience.  I am however, going to bookmark this post to come back and read what's at the other end of the links you provided...thanks.
