Life Transitions
My daughter, Megan has worn the #2 at Ursinus College for the past 4 years and is nearing the end of her collegiate career. On Tuesday, October 26, the final regular season game was played at Eleanor Frost Snell Field. It was Senior Night and I realized it was the passing of an era for me.
I have followed my daughter through her career in soccer and field hockey for about 14 years. It has been a fun experience. I have witnessed moments of great highs and some real lows, but it has truly very exciting. However, all of that is coming to an end.
As many families celebrated this final home regular season game, others recognize that there are many more games to be played on this field by other players.
There are many seasons to life. This season is coming to a close for my daughter, for me and for my family. This is life.
I began to realize this microcosm of life is why I chose a career in real estate. Life is filled with change. These times of change challenge the emotional strength of many. A realtor can be a trusted ally because these changes often require real estate to be bought or sold. A realtor who understands this and conducts oneself with the highest ethical standards becomes an invaluable resource to those facing these changes.
