Can Money Accelerate Your Real Estate Success?

  They say that money can buy you everything except love, but can it buy you real estate success? We could spend a ton of money on beautiful marketing materials and business cards, go to all types of seminars each week, and pay for coaching, but in the end, it still does not guarantee success. How do I know? In my first 8 weeks in real estate, I spend over $6,000 on marketing materials, coaching, seminars, and designations.

Quick and easy success

  Money can improve the chances of success in the proper scenarios. Want an advance degree quickly to get promoted? There are many online degrees that can be completed in less than 9 months. Sure it cost lot more than the traditional schools, but as long as you sign on and keep paying the tuition, you are guaranteed to pass. If a person have lots of money to purchase a McDonald's franchise, the company will teach them step by step instructions and literally guarantee success or McDonald would buy back the franchise.

Success Cycle

  After spending a lot of money to get me going in real estate I found that success takes time and lots of effort. Sure I would still be interested to find any way that I could use money to accelerate my real estate success, but would be cautious since there are thousands of companies that are offering success in a bottle.

Song,Many new agents get caught in the trap of thinking they must spend alot of money to make  money. Smart advertising is a necessity, but one must create a budget, and deal with reputable advertising companies.

I think it is critical to make sure the basics are mastered before spending money on more advanced marketing, education, etc. I see too many agents who purchase the latest and greatest but have not utilized the very basic resources and tools that come along with their brokerage firm, the board and their associations.

Spending money is just that.  Learnting the finer points of seling and marketing are more important than spending money.
