One thing that I love - is FRESH produce - and a little arts and crafts to go with some carnival food... Now, if you are like me,t hat is a recipe for a good farmers market, and around here, we have a few.
I'll start with Temecula, the big one is in Old Town on Saturday morning, anything from plants to jewelery and all the in betweens. It is a good farmers market and I used to drive from Lake Elsinore to get there...
There is now a second market in Temecula on Wednesdays, in the parking lot by the Macy's Men - at the Promenade Mall, This one is smaller, but does quite well for your midweek stock up.
Moving from Temecula, the next obvious location to look is Murrieta's Farmers Market, which is on Sundays, at the little mall area off Kalmia, this is where the Sports Authority, Office Depot and Babies'r'us are located. The market is smaller, but go anyway, different vendors and on a good day, you can get a very nice cup cake up there...
Lets move on to French Valley... Go out Winchester road on a Friday afternoon at 5 pm, and take a right on Pourroy, on your left, there is a little park (Brookfield park I think), and that parking lot becomes another farmers market, small, but with everything you need for your Satruday cookout. And if you live out that way, it is close.
That's it for the ones right around Temecula, if you are in Lake Elsinore, check out the market at the Storm Stadium... And yes, I will get you some video from these markets as well.
