Prices in the Palm Beach Gardens community of Oaks East are beginning to stabilize with just three percent of the neighborhood's homes on the market. Buyers interested in this community should act soon before prices begin rising.
Oaks East is a "no frills" residential community of 416 Divosta-built, single family homes finished between 1991 and 1994. All homes have three bedroom, two or two and a half baths and range in size from just below 1600 square feet under air to just above 2000 SF. Two car garages are standard.
These are quality homes in an environment of lakes and Oak trees. Amenities include a community pool and tennis courts without the expensive clubhouses of the country club communities resulting in low monthly maintenance fees.
With just 13 homes on the market in mid-October 2010, Oaks East is a stable community of professionals, young families, empty nesters and retirees. Homes are now listed in the mid- $300,000's.
In mid-October 2010 there were 10 homes sold in Oaks East, averaging $165.5 per square foot, just three percent less than the $171 SF average for 2009.
