Phoenix homes are getting scary this weekend. The real estate market isn't getting scary - don't worry. But some haunted homes are scattered all around the Valley for families to enjoy.

There will be ghosts and goblins, fog and smoke, and Arizona homes-turned-spooky . . . if you dare. So this Halloween, I want to share with you some of the holiday highlights that you can enjoy this weekend.

And, remember, if you're interested in buying or selling a home (haunted or not), contact me. Real estate doesn't have to be a scary experience. In fact, it can be really rewarding and fun.

But this weekend, here are some scary houses. Have fun and be safe this!

Hell House: Final Destination V - Chandler

October 28-30: 7 p.m.

Their Web site describes this haunted house-style attraction as "a 45-minute long multi-room guided walk-through that confronts the attendee in every reality possible. If you have problems with socially polarizing issues, then Hell House is not for you." Sounds terrifying. Enjoy!

Hell House, 585 E. Frye Road, Chandler

Morbid Manor - Glendale

October 29-30: 6:30-9:30 p.m.

This haunted house raises money for charities, which is something we can all scream about. It offers free admission, but donations are accepted. Proceeds go to the American Heart Association, the Desert Southwest Alzheimer's Association, the Arizona State Veterans Home and the Ryan McBride Memorial Music Fund.

Morbid Manor, 7426 W. Foothill Drive, Glendale.

Terror Nights - Tempe

October 29-31: 6:15-10 p.m.

"Terror Nights" gives a whole new definition to curb appeal with all of the being had in haunted yard. Visitors make their way around the yard, coming across Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis from the "Halloween" movies, as well as Frankenstein's monster, and other villains. The is also a haunted graveyard along the walk. Entrance is free but donations are accepted with some of the proceeds going toward the Tempe Community Action Agency. Non-perishable food donations are also accepted to benefit local food banks.
