IPAD Day THREE is making History...

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Leading Edge www.GoldenResults.com 71785

Okay, IPAD Day THREE is making History. Just kidding. I do my real job during the day but let me tell you, when the lights go out at my desk at 9PM, I am hot on the trail of figuring out my NEW iPAD. Here are the directions below that I just received from MRIS Tech Support in the D.C. Area. I could see my email but not send any. So, after reading the instructions below, I realized that the Apple Support had guided me through the proceess correctly but had not had me fill in my user name and password for the outgoing server. One slight change on the Settings Icon and the Mail, Contacts, Calendars section to add these two items and I can now send out email now, too.

Here are the MRIS posted directions if you are in the D.C. MRIS  MLS area and need to set up EMail to work with your NEW iPAD. You'll Retrieve Golden Results with Cheryl Ritchie, RE/MAX 100 for all your Southern Maryland Real Estate Services.

I just had another conversation with my daughter over lunch today about whether to get an iPad or not.  It has nothing to do with need.  Oh gosh let's face we can do our jobs without one....but why?

Back to your issue with MRIS it seems it is because you are using an MRIS email as your primary email address.  Did the say whether there would be a problem if you have a non-MRIS email?

Now I'm one step closer to going over the edge for an iPad.

I got my iPad on the first day they became available and I love mine.  The screen resolution and the battery life are very impressive.

Thank you Cheryl.  I brought a new IPAD and I wanted to add MRIS on it so I googled "setting mris account on ipad" and your blog was the first result of my google search.
