Southern California Home Selling Tips - Hide That Cat box

I have one buyer who winces and groans everytime we go into a home that has a cat!  I love cats but not everyone does and some people are very sensative to the smell of the litter box.   There are many ways to hide them and my new listing client was very smart to hide hers.  In fact, you would never know she has a cat!

I found this great catbox furniture and it's really not that expensive.  I know that every buyer won't want to spend money on these just to hide the catbox but what a great idea!

This one is from Designer Cat Box and prices are about $130.00 and they come in several finishes

This one is really nice and is $149.00 NEW on e-bay

Then there is the official Hidy Cat Furniture that starts at $340.00, and claims to have the best quality of cat box furniture!

Who knew that furniture for cats was such a big thing???

Jane, I have such a problem with them walking out with kitty litter still on their paws.  I like to hide it in the utility room.

Those look pretty cool.  I wish they were in some of the homes I seen over last couple of weeks.

That's cool! I never thought of those. What a great idea for sellers! Or even a closing gift.

How cool is that! At least the cat has privacy. Also, when it's out of sight, it's usually out of mind so I think you made a good suggestion.  Happy selling!  :)

Those are for the uppity cats. If we spent money on something like that for Zoey, she’d look at it, look at us, and meow a plaintive “Why?” She likes her cereal boxes and her gallon-milk-jug red rings.
