SPEECHLESS SUNDAY - HALLOWEEN VISITOR

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Tricia Pearson - Pearson Real Estate - Texas Hill Country

TRICK OR TREAT?

This beauty showed up on my front porch this morning.  She seems pretty nice, not making any noise and such, but I'm worried that her trick or treat bag full of soon to be born babies may cause a problem.  Not so much the noise, but what if they don't like the Halloween candy I picked out?

I think I'll let her stay. After all, she really did dress for the occassion.

Tricia: Beautiful but very scary to me. Not sure if I'd keep her....Hope she does not have too many babies. Happy Halloween!

Your're right Maria.  Spider babies all over the front porch is not very welcoming!  Happy Halloween.

Awesome photo Tricia! Spiders' webs do amaze me - I hate to take them down. You did get a really nice picture there!

I had a bumper crop of that type of spiders a month ago.  I sprayed them really good.  They can bite, and cause you a lot of pain.  I understand they aren't as lethal as Black Widows, but you don't want to mess with them either.

That photo made me pull back away from my computer! I'm not a spider fan but it is rather unique! I also had a person from my book club send me a photo of a tarantula that she found outside her house and she put it on a white cup to do a photo shoot! Had it been me, you would have heard me screaming all the way in San Antonio!!!

Patricia, I'm not a spider fan either, but this one was really big (almost the size of my palm) and I could take the picture standing back about 10 feet.

As for tarantulas, FORGET IT.  They can jump a long way. Not for me!

UPDATE:  After Myrl's comment above, I have sent Momma and her babies to the great spider web in the sky.  Thanks for all your comments.

What kind of spider is that? Oooo I really do not like spiders. I'm actually frightened of them and if somebody dropped a spider on my arm, I'd probably pass out. One of my clients has a giant deadly spider in an aquarium and several others in jars. I could not get out of that house fast enough. Talk about freaking out buyers.
