Huerfano County Land Day

Recently I had an East Coast Realtor ask me what "land day" was to my office. Land day is the day most offices would call "tour" day. At Colorado Western Real Estate we carry a lot of inventory for a small office. And we list properties in areas that other agents won't or properties that don't have Realtors in the area.

We have a couple of agents that enjoy representing land, vacant and big parcels of land. The kind of land that you either 4 wheel to get to or you put your boots on and look for rattlers. Some land days mean covering 300 miles, hitting restaurants and hotels along the way with fliers and tri folds. And land day means we are off the beaten path - no cell phone service.

Land day is also a lot of fun. I take my camera just to see what I can find. Today I found some tree covered property and puffy clouds in the sky. These are not touched up photos.

Sounds like  a fun day Dena!  I prefer my land to be a little more vertical if I am looking at it and not building on it, but either way, it is gorgeous.  Nice photos...

Joanne, this was kind-of, sort -of hilly ground. But no snow - bummer............. Great views of the Spanish Peaks from this area.

Bill and Barbara Jo, funny you should mention buffalo. I've been trying to get some pictures of local herds but they are never around when I have my camera, but I'm working on it.
