The Maui Huliau Foundation is holding an Eco-Adventure Program for students aged 12-18 from October 4th-6th. This is a great opportunity for students to get a solid educational experience through immersion via a 3 day, 2 night camping excursion. Students will get to explore various locations from Haleakala crater to the Hana shoreline.
The Huliau Eco-Adventure Program is a non-profit organization that strives to teach students about the value of Maui's natural environment and a look at its past, present and future at a crucial, formative time in their lives. The teenage years represent a very important time in our development, as this is when we begin to really question the world around us and begin to establish our own ideas about things. This is why it is so important to have an impact on students of this age range.
