Change may come tomorrow as everyone heads to the poles. Two years ago we heard that the people voted for "change". Two years later we are voting for change again. Change is all over the place. The economy is changing. Facebook is changing the way we communicate. Cell phones have changed the way we exchange information and the speed by which we can do so. One thing is sure, no matter who wins the election tomorrow, things will change.
The same holds true for the real estate market. It has changed. The way buyers buy homes has changed. The internet is the source of finding a home, not open houses. The way lenders lend money has changed. They need more documents and better credit. Sellers have changed. Many of the sellers are banks and most of the other sellers rely on the banks to see if they can sale it for less than they owe.
One place where we do not see enough change is in the real estate community. Of course there are few of us around because of the slow down in the economy. But many are still trying to sell homes the way we did four years ago. In a time where fear has slowed buyers and sellers, do we need to change in order to help this market begin to recover?
I think so. Would you vote for this? As many sellers would love to move to a different location, add square footage, move up and keep the same payment with the low interest rates, I have heard one statement over and over again: "If I could sale my home, I would love to ........". What if you could test the market to see if you could sell your home? What if you did not have to get locked into a 90 or 120 day commitment to see if it is possible to make a move right now. What if you could list your home for 21 days and see if there was a market for your home? Would you do it? Would you like it if we changed and let you just try to see if it would sale? Would you vote for that kind of change? If the answer is yes, give us a call. 21 day full service listings are available. Give this change a try.
