Not sure what HIP TIPZ is?  Please click on Our Introduction to find out more.  Now, let's get down to business -it's time to roll:

HIP TIPZ #166

Are you in love with Philippe Starck's style like I am?  Next time you're in Paris, book a stay at Mama Shelter Hotel -Starck designed it!

HIP TIPZ #167

Do you have extra broadloom left over from your basement installation?  Have a piece cut to size and edge-bounded.  It will make great runners and door mats.

HIP TIPZ #168

For instant curb appeal, add obelisks to either side of your garage door.  Place them over top of pots and train ivy to climb them.

HIP TIPZ #169

Visually warm up your rooms for Fall/Winter by changing the window treatments to heavier, darker ones.  Also change out your blanket throws and cushions to reflect the new season as well.

HIP TIPZ #170

Place 3 or 4 rocks in the centre of a large, round, metal bowl.  Then fill the edges with reindeer moss for an awesome "arrangement".

Charlene,

I'm going to use 168. And, I now suspect that you are not stopping at #200.

Brian - Great!  I'm glad you're going to give it a try.  I like obelisks.  They look really interesting once you train a vine to grow around them.  Your suspicion is correct.  HIP TIPZ won't be ending any time soon - there's no stopping me now :-)
