Honesty

I had a valuable experience the other day, where I learned something about Character.  I was in a situation where my buyers were going to lose their earnest money due to my misrepresentation, in other words I was going to lose $1000. And not wanting to lose my hard earned money I was trying to justify why they should not lose their earnest money, when all the sudden I was sounding like that agent who has the ever changing story.  After getting off the phone with the sellers agent I realized my error.  My character is not worth selling for any amount of money.  So I lost that $1000 but I gained my collegues respect and kept my integrity.
